Sylvia McLaren-Tishler is the founder and director of Frameworks Training and Finishing Academy. With over twenty five years experience in sales and management in the optical industry, combined with her teacher’s diploma, Sylvia’s experience makes her workshops credible, usable and profitable.

Sylvia helps her clients build their personal brand by teaching them the soft skills guaranteed to increase their visibility, credibility and profitability; all while having fun!

She is a renowned speaker and pioneer of the innovative Styling Outside The Frame program designed for the optical industry.

For the last fifteen years she has been one of the top Public Speaking instructors for the Certified General Accountants Association of BC.

Her students say she takes the fear out of speaking in public with her use of simple formulas and empathetic instruction.

Many of Sylvia’s clients requested help training their staff in professional protocol and etiquette. Recognizing this need, and using her Facilitators Certification from the Protocol School of Palm Beach, she founded the Frameworks Finishing Academy. At the Finishing Academy you will be provided with all the tools needed to be more polished and professional in the boardroom or at the dining tables.
